Marco Polo – The Italian School of Sydney is an after-hours language school based in Bossley Park (NSW), providing a range of quality Italian language teaching and cultural programs for K-12 and adult learners.
Applications are invited for the part-time Temporary position of Italian Community Support Officer, until Friday, 19 December 2025.
Successful applicants are expected to:
- be proficient in Italian, mother tongue speakers or ability to communicate fluently in speaking and writing.
- arrange your own transport to and from the school to conduct on-site office work.
- assist in the processing of enrolments, maintenance of student records and in correspondence.
- work collaboratively with colleagues and school staff in a flexible manner, including in creating school-wide resources and projects.
- provide a Working with Children Check.
- must have working rights or be eligible for a visa which allows them to work in Australia.
- provide at least TWO references as part of the selection process.

WORKING HOURS
12 to 16 hours per week, divided over 2-3 days (Monday, Tuesday and Friday).
Typical hours would be between 9:00am-3:00pm. This is a working from site position.
REMUNERATION
$33 per hour + super + pro-rata entitlements
