The Manzoni Scholarship Program is established by the Marco Polo Language School to encourage and recognise students in their pursuit of Italian language learning in equity and merit alike.
The Manzoni Scholarship Program is intended to provide students K-12 with the financial support to further their education in learning Italian as well as reward achievement and effort.
The Scholarship program honours Alessandro Manzoni (1785-1873), an Italian writer and poet. His most famous literary work “I Promessi Sposi” (The Betrothed), published in 1827 remains a fundamental milestone in the development of the modern Italian language.
