Pronto Link-Up

Pronto Link-Up: Italian Community Seniors Initiative is a targeted community support project delivered by CNA Multicultural Services Inc. to assist Italian-speaking seniors and vulnerable individuals across the Fairfield-Liverpool LGAs and surrounding areas.

The initiative provides culturally and linguistically appropriate case management, including a dedicated helpline, referral services and personalised support to help seniors navigate local services and maintain independence. A key focus of the program is reducing social isolation by reconnecting older members of the Italian community with social groups, activities, and community networks.

Through weekly activities, community events and partnerships with local leaders and organisations, the project encourages active participation, social inclusion, and improved wellbeing. It also promotes access to vital information and services, ensuring seniors remain engaged and supported within a multicultural environment.

The program benefits approximately 1,500 local residents and involved around 25 volunteers, strengthening community cohesion and enhancing quality of life for one of the region’s fastest ageing culturally diverse populations.
